人| human

the people, you meet , is the most interesting and exciting happening on the trip. They are from all over the world, have different background, doing different things, have different purpose, why they are there.

male, female, old or young, some of them are nice, some of them are totally an asshole, but they are all special, like you and me.

in budapest, i knew a lady, patricia (about 35-40? well, you know, it is not polite to ask such a question), she is from colombia, since 13 years lives in florida now. she is writing for a magazine of south america community. we both have a similar past: we left our home-country and live since a while in a different society.

their family decided to leave columbia because of her security. unfortunately, her father had to stay and take care about his mother, so their parents had to devorce intentionally at that time.her mother alone took 2 children and left. it was difficult for her at the beginning. she tried very hard to learn the laguage and to integrate into the american society.

after years of hard work, things have been turned positive. they put a lot effort to be a bridge between american and south-american. she is very active in the community. almost all her close friends are american.
she made it.

BUT she can never go back now. she is no more a colombian, she is an american... i can deeply understand what kind of feeling is that. i am from taiwan, but since 5 years i live in germany. taiwan is still my root, my love. but it is hard for me to say "taiwan is my home".

i can't go back, and my family won't come. it is life.

Life is an unexpected trip and it is just a start.
