別| Goodbye
Yes, as the title shows I am going to leave Germany now.
It is a very strange feeling because I really thought, it is my home now and I will stay for a long long time. However, the life goes, where ever it wants. The pitcher (life) won't always throw a fastball. When it comes a curveball, then you have to change your movement and prepare for it.
It will be a huge change for me, but maybe not a bad one. I live in europe since 6 years. My spirit and connection to Asia is getting weaker and weaker. It is time to pick it up again and renew it, to look at who I am. Asia is my root but Germany is my spirit home. It will take some time to integrate into the daily life in Taiwan.
But I believe, it will be very exiting. Let's go, Chih-Hang
See you my dear friends

變 | change
it is time again, that i really need change in my life.
step by step, the life in magdeburg is becoming a routine.
i have many friends, with different hoppies.
i go to watch a movie with some, play billiard with some, singstars with some,
fitness studio with reik, baseball with my team. my project are running well as usual...
YES, AS USUAL.
everything is just like a time lope. my life stops... there is few movement now.
in this moment, i just want to go away, far far away. somewhere, i don't know anyone.
to restart it again, to find new input, new things, that excite me just like 6 years ago, i came to germany.
CHANGE IS COMING

友 | my dear friends
Photos
last weekend, I have visited Strasbourg with 2 of my good friends, Taco (left), with whom I went to my high school and university in Taiwan and Yosuke. (We are good friends since more than 3 years.) We had really a wonderful time there. Though it was also kind of hard ;P...why?
Taco usually comments, to travel with me is always stressful and arduous. Because I always choose to walk through the whole city, to view what we won't see, to experience with the body and soul.
I like Strasbourg. Because of its "old", its beauty, its cleanliness, its size (not big, but colorful and international). But the most I love, is its german character mixed with french lifestyle. Alsace is an area, which exhibits both cultures with great wine and food. It looked so wonderful when the river flows through the old downtown in the night under light, warm, yellow lamps. It touched my heart so deeply, that I really considered to stay there and establish my own design office there.

回歸自然| into The Wild
into the wild, a movie about backpacking, away from the society and back to the nature.
This is based on a real history of a young man: Christopher McCandless. 1990, he was 21 and just got a bachelor-degree. the future seems normal, mater at harvard then to get a good earning job, a family...a happy life.
but he decided to do something different. because of the shadow in his family. he determined to leave everything he have behind him, inclusive his car, he gave away all his money, cleaned up his apartment, burned his cash, cut his cards and started his trip with nothing.
"the most important is not to be strong, but to feel strong" he is alone but not lonely. in his trip he knew lots of really great persons and friend fo his life.he went across the whole america and toward alaska for 2 years. That's is his dream a big alaska adventure. why alaska? because it is a pure nature, no material-world, no society, no human. no-body, just him and the world(god).
during the trip, he read a lot. every time when he found something meaningful, he wrote it down and repeat it again and again, to integrate it into his own. he asked himself, what is the life he wants.
"If you forgive, you will love. If you love, the light of God shines on you."
he died at the end. it is a real stroy. in memory of christopher MacCandless.
"I have a happy life. Goodbye"
that's was his last word. his body was found two weeks after his death in alaska.

起|beginning, starting
since couple weeks, i really wanted to report my travel during the xmas. but i was (am) too busy to make it. so let's make a start now. during the xmas (20-27.12.2007), i and yosuke, we travelled through Budapest->Vienna->Bratislava.
this trip was kind of backpacker trip, low budget, organized but we still had some flexibility to change the details and go somewhere what we just liked. we started in Braunschweig, (where he lives), took a train to Bremen, flew to Bratislava and took a train again to Budapest. (at that time the flight was cheap between Bremen and Budapest.) it took totally more than 12 hours to get there...hula...it was arduous...
in Bremen airport : they threw my shampoo, creme and so one away. i forgot to put them in my big trolley...
in the Bratislava airport:
in Bratislava Railway station: well, it was difficult to buy a ticket and find our train. lack of english sign.
the train to Budapest: it is old, dirty and it smells...OMG. but on the way we listened to a lot of music in the wagon. not bad ;P
Hostel, River side , Budapest: it is a small , family-like hostel. we met several nice people there, patricia, 2 "cool" guys from australia with interesting tatoos on the arms. what really funny was, we lived with 2 gays. they just macked on each other and kissed in front of us... we was shocked. because we never saw it "live"...
yosuke is trying to make his bed organized.
my bed...
the bridge is not far away from our hostel. it was really really beautiful in the night.
the theater is right cross the street.
ok, let's start it!!!

時光機器| Time Machine
recently, i often think about it: what would i do, if i have a time machine...
last year, 2007 was a very interesting year of my life, a lot of work, a lot of changes, high-tide, low tide, succeed, happiness, sadness, mistakes, pain...
if u really have one, should i go back and tell myself:
"hey buddy, be careful, something is going to happen!"
would it be better? would i happier, if i can forecast and prepare all these things?
NO, i don't think so.
life is exciting, because you don't konw, what is coming. if there is only high-tide in the life, we will get bored and high-tide is no more high-tide, if we don't know, what is low-tide.
at that moment, i was sad. i have been asking the whole time, why it happens to me. but now i must say, thanks god to challenge me, push me to be tougher. i think many people have similar experience.
it was a bad luck, a shit at that moment, but a luck in the end.
i think, i am really for more hardcore challenges ;D

閱| Read, E Experience
the best thing of travel is, you are more than what you are before the trip. just like these 2 books. they have been filled with my notes, tickets, maps, thing i collected during the trip, full of unforgettable memories.
someone has said "the purpose of our life is to create wonderful memories". YES, this is what we get, keep and save in our brain. sweet, bitter, funny...all of them belond to our trip of life.
